Planning Site Retirement
Many sites have a definitive lifespan linked to a policy or program initiative or a trend that is no longer relevant. It is important to regularly assess the sites under management and ascertain whether any of the sites are ready for retirement. The retirement process requires the conscientious archiving of site content as some content may need to remain available to users.
