e-Government Strategy 2006
The 2006 e-Government Strategy charts how the government will build on progress in e-government to date, and how to progress towards the vision of connected and responsive government by 2010. Activities will be in four main areas:
- meeting users' needs
- establishing connected service delivery
- achieving value for money
- enhancing public sector capability.
Why Must I?
The 2006 e-Government Strategy has been endorsed by the Australian Government.
The Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) oversees and coordinates implementation of the strategy, in consultation with the Secretaries' Committee on ICT, the Business Process Transformation Committee and the Chief Information Officer Committee.
